Plastic Money

Our tips on saving money as described here can be useful when it comes to credit card use. Using credit cards is so easy...but when the bills come we don't even want to open them. Do you want to know how to get out from under a mountain of bills?

For those of you that are not sure about this idea, here is something to think about. Take a look at your monthly expenses. After you pay your monthly bills and the minimums on your credit cards, what is left?...That balance is what you have to shop with.

One way to build a fund up for a rainy day is to have your employer make an automatic transfer from your paycheck to your bank account. That way you can have a fund and not be tempted to spend the cash in hand.

Join With A Friend

Join together with a friend that has a common interest in cutting back on credit card use. It can be very helpful when you have support. You shouldn't have trouble finding a friend that enjoys getting new things on a regular basis and their method of payment is to use a credit card.

If you get the urge to go shopping, call him or her to talk about it. It's very helpful in the moment, to have someone to remind you that going to the shopping center and charging more is not in your best interest. You can ease each others temptations from time to time.
